In general, the launch of Amazon’s Luna gaming cloud service was not something out of the ordinary: the company has a multi-billion dollar budget and is ready to invest even in obviously risky projects. In addition, Amazon already has several personal gaming projects such as New World and Crucible, so it would be nice to provide ubiquitous access to these games.

Luna is currently only available on the US mainland and by invitation only. Nevertheless, Amazon is not going to stop only at America and in the future will try to provide access to its gaming cloud service in Europe.
