The original game Dark Souls 2 was released in 2014. Its development began back in the days of the last generation of consoles, which simply could not cope with the graphics available on PS4 and X1. Therefore, the game came out not particularly beautiful than its predecessor.

An already existing video added fuel to the fire, in which DS2 looked much more beautiful and technologically advanced:

This alignment to this day does not suit fans of the second part of “Dark Souls”, and therefore, enthusiasts often delight gamers with various modifications that improve either the graphics or the gameplay.

So today we are covering the Dark Souls 2 Depths of Darkness texture pack. The mod includes about 6,000 modified textures that recreate the aesthetics of the first Dark Souls game.

And here you should be as careful as possible since not all fans of the first part are warm to the second. Exactly the same as fans of the second “Dark Souls” may not be entirely positive about the first Dark Souls.

It should be understood that this modification allows you to relive those emotions of the second part, but in the wrapper of the first.
