AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X processor price in Amazon store drops to $3450

Thus, the discount on the top-end 64-core, 128-thread processor was an impressive $ 540 (the usual price of the chip is $ 3990, with a discount – $ 3450).

At the moment, it is not clear who exactly initiated this discount – AMD or Amazon (or, more obviously, this is a collaboration of the companies). In addition, it is not known how long it will last. However, we can only say with complete confidence that this is only the first price cut for AMD’s ultimate chip.

The Ryzen Threadripper 3990X chip has 288MB of shared cache, 128 PCIe Gen 4 lanes and a TDP of 280W. The 64-core chip operates at a base frequency of 2900MHz and a maximum of 4300MHz.
